Do You Know Who Made the Leap Day?

Need of a Leap Year

Leap day, occurring on February 29th, was not made by any individual but rather is a result of the need to synchronize the calendar with the Earth’s orbit around the sun.

According to the Gregorian calendar: A year is a leap year if it is divisible by 4. However, years divisible by 100 are not leap years, unless they are also divisible by 400.

For example, 2000 was a leap year, but 1900 was not.
